Spin's Climate Change Impact: A+
It is estimated that globally we are required to invest around USD 60 trillion to decarbonise. If every company, including Spin was able to fund (in part) something towards climate change as we must reduce greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions worldwide.
Spin has pledged to use 100% green renewable energy by 2025. In line with the Paris Agreement, globally we need to cut the total amount of greenhouse gas emissions.
Spin has pledged to be a carbon neutral company by 2025. Publically stating you are a carbon neutral company, which is a great step towards a positive climate action approach, is what every company should strive for way beyond the Paris Agreement's 2050 deadline.
Spin has pledged to be a carbon negative company by 2025. Achieving this in any industry is amazing and means that Spin is removing more carbon dioxide out of the atmosphere than they produce annually. If every company could archive carbon negative status, then the global warming temperate rise limit of 1.5c by 2050 can be achieved.
From the outset, Spin has made and is making a difference to ensure sustainability is a core value of the company. Having a sustainable approach means that all operations, products, features, technology, and everything else in between, make environmental factors a first priority (or at least high up in the pecking order), thus achieving and maintain a climate-neutrality business. This approach is much easier and cheaper than retrofitting a product or service to become sustainable from a previously non-sustainable operation.
Wow, Spin are truly setting the path for our future pledging to do more than it is required to ensure civilisation we know and love is kept.
